COLLATERAL DAMAGE Historically, the oligarch capitalism came to power after 1848, and it brought us crisis after crisis. The trouble is, this relatively new form of social exploitation is so much pushed to the extremes (since it is based on people's limitless greed), that it is greatly unstable. In 1914 we had the First World War generated by the young oligarch capitalist nations. Ordinary people had to fight and die by the millions in that great World War so that we live better today! Sure, makes sense. In 1917 appears the first dictatorial communist country in our Civilization; however, communism didn't just appear by itself: it had been generated by the merciless oligarch capitalist exploitation. At the end of 1929 we had the first World Economy Crisis. Again, the little people suffered and died by the millions, while the oligarch capitalists continued fattening up. The Second World War came in 1939: roughly the USA, UK, and Russia had to fight fiercely with Germany, Japan, and Italy. Millions died. The result was, there was no result. Each mentioned country today is very good friends with the others. Fact is, the Second World War was just some sort of oligarch capitalist valve needed to blow steam (and to shuffle "the shares" around, a little bit). After the 2WW, we had the Korean War, the Vietnam War, plus very many local wars and, naturally, the great Cold War one. Finally, in 1990 most of the world turned towards the oligarch capitalist forms of government. Today, in 2009, we are in a deep social crisis as never before in History: this time the crisis is in moral (education), in social relations (welfare, medical, social development), in economy, in technology, and political. The mess is total today, throughout the world. The proliferation of the narcotics worldwide crime industry, the senseless barbaric local wars, the exponential increase in crimes, executions, terrorism, religious intolerance, piracy, kidnappings, torture, and finally the uncontrolled social theft and the economic worldwide disaster, all of them tell us that we live in a terrible social crisis. It is not the economy, dear people; economy is just one collateral damage. Things are far worse. Like it or not, the solution is only one: REVOLUTION. No, do not think of more crimes, social revolt, and anarchy; there is absolutely nothing wrong with any financial/industrial oligarchy as long as our governs work for the people only. The REVOLUTION we need today MUST be a LOGIC one, similar to the RENAISSANCE in the 16th century. We need to take control over our social existence, over our social work efforts, and over the social development in the future. Now, it is the perfect time to change our destiny; besides, all it takes is just ... little logic. Just an insignificant example, in USA the government has ventured over 1.5 trillion USD in order to "solve" the economic crisis. Try to imagine that things could have been (and they still can be) solved only with WORDS. Of course, it is not just any words; these are regulations, rules, and laws, all based on social justice. That is all dear people but, you see, the entire mighty USA nation couldn't find, up to now, the right solution. On the other hand, we still have all the time in the World we need. "After all, tomorrow is another day"--smart, aye? |
