CHAOS The Global Picture this past week is "chaos"--of course, this is nothing new. However, it is interesting to note the manner in which the people deal with chaos. What they do is, they talk, then they talk again, and then they keep on talking. People love to hear themselves talking. Even more, we have no doubts that people are able to talk themselves to death. Anyway, overall--though somehow in the background--there is this social-hope: we are going to fix things tomorrow! Sure. We did it so many times before ... Particularly to people is, they are able to adapt to adverse/harsh social environments. Things are this way: 1. Today our society is a far worse than it was yesterday. 2. However, we (the people) are able to adjust to the new adverse reality. Some of us "manage", in one way or the other, even a very good living, and we all take them as "successful social examples". 3. Tomorrow it is going to be worse--this is, hopelessly worse, at first; then ... 4. Some people are going to survive. 5. After very, very many cycles of "worse-survive", and after years of perky useless talks, someone will become aware that "surviving" is not the right solution. In order to solve our problems, we need to eliminate the "roots of worse". 6. Of course, it takes many years of tumultuous social-talks to detect the few, simple socially-disturbing roots of worse. However, people are not going to like those reasons, therefore they are going to start arguing again ... Some are, probably, asking: "Will this ever end?" Well, we do not know, dear brothers and sisters. The cycle "worse-survive" started few thousand years ago, and we are still arguing about the "roots of worse". However, there is hope! |
