Tuesday, January 29, 2008 The education in USA is collapsing for few good decades. In addition, the education is agonizing allover the world; say, in Russia, in China, in Romania, in Malta, in France, in Germany, in UK ... everywhere. However, the funny "thing" comes from USA: they came up with a "system" to balance this continuous educational (and social) degradation. What they did was, the offered exceptional tuitions, good jobs, and plenty of green cards to all bright minds in the entire world--they still do that, intensively. Particularly targeted were the brightest young graduates form reputable universities allover the world. Yet, after few decades--as mentioned--the education in USA is still degrading. Further, and as a result, social life in USA is also degrading alarmingly. The "system" does not work, and it cannot work: it is a child born dead from the very beginning. For few decades official education and social systems allover the planet have failed to promote intelligence--this is, true intelligence. There are so few intellectual dinosaurs left, and they have been pushed so far outside the active social life, everywhere, that discovering and promoting them today is impossible. On the other hand, the theories/principles/ideas of those few remaining true intellectuals are so advanced that nobody else is capable of understanding them today. You see, there are countless armies of new "well trained" engineers, doctors, teachers, philosophers, and researchers who know perfectly well "the letters of their (new) books". Any theory/principle/idea that falls outside "the letter of the (new) book" is denigrated, ridiculed, and ignored. That is perfectly normal, average social behavior. For example, people adore balanced equations; therefore, we find them everywhere, both in science and in our social activity. A very wise intellectual, on the other hand, may tell us that any equation represents a regress (or a stagnation) in science, or in our social activity. The good solutions are only the unbalanced equations, particularly those of the positive surplus type. IT IS NEVER THE CAR; IT IS ONLY THE DRIVER The USA car is magnificent; we should better say, the best in the world. However, its driver is ... Well, he is the Honorable George Walker Bush! Soon he will have to pass the "keys" to another driver--there are so many eager to take the USA car for a spin! Note that there are other good cars "on the market": the EU, the Arab League, Russia, Japan, China, and the South-East Asia. All of them are very nice, and all are shinning in gold. Therefore, it is only up to drivers' ability: it is interesting to see which car will win "the race". Now, a good driver could win the race; a bad one may end up in the ditch, regardless of how good the car is. Some may want clarifications about this "race" metaphor. Sorry, it just came to us, after listening for one week to piles of boring, predictable news--honestly, those news people are over-doing their jobs. What we can explain is the prize of the race: it is the gold calf itself! No, this is not a joke; the prize is the biblical, the original gold calf, not a fake, cheap, modern copy. Push on hard, dear people: it may be you are the winners, in the long run. *** |
