Sunday August 24, 2008 ![]() BEIJING 2008: THE BEST OLYMPIC GAMES EVER! The 2008 Olympic Games are over, and many say they were the best ever! The credits go, first of all, to Mr. Hu Jintao, the President of China and General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party, as the strongest drive behind the games; to the Chinese Communist Party, as the overall supervisor and the great organizer of the games; to the Chinese Police and Security Forces for the badly needed peace and security provided during the games; and, lastly, to the Chinese people, the hard workers, the very constructors of the games. [This is the right and the fair order.] As a note only, the Chinese Communist Government did a lot better job than any democrat capitalist equivalent so far. Politically, the Olympic Games represent the most important international event on our planet. Although fierce international competitions/battles were fought and won, there were no invasions, no casualties, no rapes occurred, and not a drop of blood was spilled! It was just that the winners cried, the spectators cried, and same did some of those who lost Olympic qualifications, medals, or ... whatever. The truth is, we all cried a lot in 2008: sometimes with happiness, sometimes with despair, or simply touched by some intense human emotions/feelings displayed about. Socially, the average people adore "The Games"; that is what they "understand" best. Therefore, advanced, intelligent ideas/topics need to be wrapped around this Games thing, somehow, so that "the people" might "get (some of) the picture". That is the way things are, and we must take them exactly as such. The generally accepted idea is, The Games make us better, stronger, more confident, whatever. Unfortunately, there is one, tiny--almost insignificant--problem left ... You see, LIFE is not a game. Anyway, we--the people--are working hard on it. We'll make it a game; don't worry about it. |
