A2:  DARK MATTER, DARK ENERGY, AND THE DIMMING OF THE UNIVERSE

Electroic DesignThe official stereotype propaganda is, "the truth would create chaos, panic, and anarchy; the people are no able today to handle the truth". Amazingly, that is correct. However, if you think of "aliens", of "advanced civilizations" or even of "God", then you do not know anything. THE TRUTH is far more extraordinary than just a few unfortunate aliens, regardless of how advanced technologically they may be. THE TRUTH is way more powerful than whatever idea you may have about God.

"That is not possible," you may say, "because nothing is more powerful than God is."

Well, dear friends, these "things" cannot be explained in a few words, in a few articles, or even in a few books. It takes ... Well!

*

We live on such a beautiful Planet, we benefit from a wonderful Sun, and  we are part of an incredible Planetary System, yet we never bothered to name them appropriately. Each country on our Planet name those grandiose natural monuments differently, in their own language. Now, each day there are so many important international conferences, meetings, discussions, yet nobody ever said: "Wait a minute dear people. Let's decide on a few nice names for our Planet, for our Sun, and for our Planetary System."

That is done intentionally. Assigning names to our sun-star and to our Planetary System is the equivalent of admission of commonality. Note that the official propaganda is: we are alone in the Universe!

The second aspect is, naming our Planet, the Sun, and our Planetary System would inspire the people with the idea of unity. We are one single race, the Human one, on one planet, and we are all brothers and sisters of the same species. Therefore, why do we need so many States, Governments, local taxes, and very, very many other whatevers?

Well, let's go further. A quick search on the Internet for "stars, universe, galaxies" today results in about 375 000 bookmarks, and we have no intention to repeat what other people have said. We will only point out to some interesting and intriguing observations. Please note this: the data presented in this article has been taken from the generally available sources on the Internet, and we have no intention to challenge it, at this time.

The age of our Sun, and implicitly of our Planet and Planetary System, is approximately 4.7 billion years (4 700 000 000). The closest star to our sun is Alpha-Centaury at 4.3 light-years. There are many interesting theories about the formation of the stars and their Planetary Systems, yet nobody can state with a clean conscience today they are true facts. We have absolutely no idea of how the stars, Planetary Systems, and the Galaxies were formed--and of how they continue to exist the way they do right now!

Stars are not evenly distributed in the Universe: most of the time they group themselves in clusters named, simply and obviously, "local clusters of stars". Many, very many local clusters of stars form an unbelievably beautiful structure named, a GALAXY. Our solar system is part of the Milky-Way Galaxy [Wow! We did manage to name our Galaxy!], which has about 250 billion stars (250 000 000 000), and a diameter of 100 000 light-years. Although the Galaxies are so incredibly beautiful and they are so interesting, we do not know, again, much about how they were formed. Even worse, we cannot even explain, mechanically, how the Galaxies manage to exist as they do it right now!

At Corollary Theorems we are rather skeptic, therefore we can imagine that only one star in one million could have a Civilization comparable to ours inside Milky-Way. Considering that odd and absurd circumstance, we should expect to discover that 250 thousand Civilizations [dear brothers and sisters of ours, Galaxy-wise] live happily nearby in our very Milky-Way Galaxy. Isn't that really nice, people?

The Galaxies group themselves into "local groups of galaxies". Our local group has 30 Galaxies, with Milky-Way at one pole, and Andromeda at the other. Andromeda has two times Milky-Way's diameter, and it is at 2.8 billion light-years distance (that is 28 thousand times the diameter of Milky-Way). Closest to Milky-Way there are 2 small Galaxies, Large Magellan Cloud and Small Magellan Cloud.

Of course, local groups of galaxies group themselves further into "superclusters of galaxies". We managed to approximate that in our Universe there are about one quadrillion Galaxies (1 000 000 000 000 000)! However, that number is not the final one, because the Universe could be a lot larger than what we see today. The age of the Universe is considered to be about 14 billion years. Overall, three things are greatly disturbing to scientists:
1. Dark Matter
2. Dark Energy
3. The Dimming of the Universe

Dark Matter is something that should be inside the Galaxies' core, to account for the enormous gravitational attraction that holds the stars together. There should be a minimum of 90% more matter (mass) inside the Galaxies--and implicitly in the entire Universe--but there isn't any. That is, according to the "mechanical" theories we know.

Because it should have been, though it isn't, the missing matter was inspirationally named Dark Matter. Still, there is no evidence of any Dark Matter up to now, and it is possible, in fact, that we do not need any. Our limited way of understanding reality is, we relate gravitational forces to matter, mechanically; we cannot imagine one without the other. However ...

Another disturbing fact is, peripheral Galaxies are moving away from one another with an accelerated motion which cannot be explained. Normally, that spreading motion generated by our dear, initial Big Bang should have ceased billion years ago. Instead, the acceleration is still there, and that requires enormous amounts of energy. We cannot explain the source of that incredibly huge energy, therefore it was poetically named Dark Energy. There are, however, some encouraging rumors trying to account for that Dark Energy: they say, the space is bubbling ... That unexplained, yet noticeable and measurable Dark Energy is way greater than anything we can imagine, and it simply invalidates the initial mechanical explosion--the Big Bang theory.

The Dimming of the Universe is a relatively recent phenomenon, supposedly of only 1 million years old. Since then, the number of dying stars is greater than the number of the newly born ones. That is really bad, because in a few billion years we could have a dark, and very cold Universe surrounding us.

Well, the good news is, it is possible the data measured is corrupted or distorted, somehow, or the theories we use are not the right ones. On the other hand, it is certain that future discoveries, and new theories, are going to change our vision about the Atomic Universe completely, in the coming future.
